It may be tempting to want to whiten your teeth during treatment and some will say that it is okay but there is a chance that if you have attachments on your teeth that the whitening agent will whiten around and not under them – meaning that when we remove your attachments it will appear like you have yellow spots on your teeth. We recommend waiting until your treatment is finished to allow your saliva to remineralize your tooth surface before whitening. You can also talk to your dentist about which whitening option would be best for you.
